We are a fully equipped studio offering one-to-one sessions and semi-private classes. All of our instructors are fully certified and have a wealth of teaching experience.
Hoxton Pilates is located 2 minutes from Old Street station. Our location make us convenient for Shoreditch, Angel, Hackney, and the City of London.
Machine Based Pilates
We offer machine based Pilates in a fully equipped studio. The Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Ladder Barrel are Joseph Pilates' unique creations that have been in use for over 100 years. These are sturdy machines which use spring resistance to build strength, increase flexibility, and optimise balance and coordination.
His original method of "Contrology" was developed in tandem with these machines. Emphasis is on breathing, core control, and a harmonious balanced body.
Pilates for Rehabilitation
Our studio offers private and duet sessions in which we focus on the specific needs of each individual on the day. It provides an ideal setting for rehabilitation. Many of our clients have come to us with injuries, chronic pain and a variety of special conditions. These include arthritis, osteoporosis, scoliosis, RSI (repetitive strain injury), vertebral disc injuries, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and sciatica. We also work with those recently recovering from surgery or complications from childbirth. Anyone is welcome provided they are cleared by their physician to exercise.
